Abstract
Background: The menopause stages can cause some indications and symptoms. This will make some women have psychological symptoms that often come out, such as anxiety. Objective: To know the relationship between menopause stages of women and the anxiety levels at Karangtanjung, Alian. Method: This study is correlation deskriptive with cross sectional approach. The study was conducted towards 81 women respondents being in the menopause stage at Karangtanjung, Alian by using random sampling technique. The data was analyzed by using Kendall Thau test. Result: After conducting this study, the writer found that p: 0,059 >0,005. It means there is no significant relationship between menopause stages and anxiety levels in the Karangtanjung village, Alian. Conclusion: There is no significant relationship between menopause satges of women and the anxiety levels at Karangtanjung, Alian. Recommendation: It needs further research by using other standardized anxiety test instruments to get significant results.
