Abstract
Background: World Health Organization (WHO) estimates the number of cases of world pleural effusion is high enough to occupy the order of the 3rd. Pleural effusions can occur as a complication of various diseases. The existence of lung function problems that cause shortness of breath in need of efforts to fix the problem, one of them with inflatable therapy balloons. Balloon inflatable therapy is one application of pursed lip breathing therapy. Objective: To explain the nursing care given to patients with Pleural Effusion Post Water Sealled Drainage at Bougenville Room Hospital Prof. Dr. Margono Soekarjo Purwokerto. Results: The problem analysis nursing taken the pattern write ineffectiveness of the breath. From an analysis of the care of nursing fifth patients with inflatable therapy balloon indicated change in the breath although not all patients. Recommended: inflatable therapy balloons can be given to patients who have trouble breathing ineffectiveness of pattern, it proves that the process of repairing lung function in patients
