Abstract
Latar belakang: In the majority (90%) of cases hypertension is hypertension prymary of unknown cause. In principle there are two kinds of therapy that can be done to treat diseases hypertension, namely therapy pharmacology and therapeutic non pharmacology. Tujuan umum: Analyzing family nursing care of hypertension patients to give starfruit juice in the Kalibeji village in Sempor District Kebumen. Hasil analisis: The results of the starfruit juice once a day a week on five hypertension clients obtained the result that a decline in blood pressure systole Mrs. S 150/100 mmHg be 130/100 mmHg, Mrs. M 150/90 mmHg be 130/90 mmHg, Mr. B 150/90 mmHg be 120/90 mmHg, Mr. M 170/100 mmHg be 130/80 mmHg, Mrs. R 140/90 mmHg be 120/80 mmHg is in average of 26 mmHg. So that it can be concluded that starfruit juice effective for lowering systole blood pressure in client with hypertension. Rekomendasi: Starfruit are fruit which originally from the region country with tropical climmate like indonesia, to the harvest in favored by the community, was easy to get and easy to cultivated. So that starfruit can be alternative to lowering blood pressure.
