Abstract
Background: Secure and comfort needs are very important human basic needs. If these needs are untreated very well, it will lead to more serious problem such as pain interfering the person’s activities and comfort. Pain can be caused by inflammation resulting from an infection. Pain management can be a distraction such as listening to classical music stimulating patient’s concentration. The pain management is easy treatment to do. Objective: To describe nursing care of fulfilling secure and comfort needs to Mrs. B in Dahlia Ward, Dr. Sudirman State Hospital of Kebumen Discussion: The nursing diagnoses were acute pain, activity intolerance, and nutrional imbalance less than body need, deficient knowledge. Intervention and implementation were pain management, activity managemen, health education, and nutrient management. Results: The evaluation obtained for three days showed that the problem of acute pain, activity intolerance, and nutrional imbalance less than body need has not been resolved. Deficient knowledge was resolved.
