Abstract
Fever or hyperthermia is a form of body mechanism against disease, when there is a germ or viral disease that enters the body. Providing warm compresses or tepid water sponge (tws) can reduce fever in children. The purpose of this paper is to explain the application of warm compresses through tepid water sponge (tws) with hyperthermic nursing problems in Typoid patients in the Cateliya Room of Cilacap General Hospital. The results of evaluation on 5 patients after given tepid water sponge (tws) for 3 days found that tepid water sponge able to lower body temperature of patient
