Abstract
Bckground: typhoid fever sill be very dangerous if it is not handled properly and correctly, even it can cause death. in patients with typhoid fever, both in adults and children, the common signs and symptoms that often appear is fever, both in adults and children. one way to reduce hyperthermia is by compressing. It has been known that there are two kinds of skin compress, the water tepid sponge and warm compress.. the tepid sponge compress is a warm compress technique that combines the technique of block compressing the supervisorial blood vessels with a wiping technique. General objectives : This final ners scientific paper aims to describe nursing care with the fulfillment of the basic needs of safe and comfortable thermoregulation: hyperthermia. The result of nursing care : the main nursing problem is hyperthermia tht is related to illness. intervention and implementation that became the writer's focus during the treatment on five samples is by tepid water sponge compress. Recommendation: the writer innovates the nursing care by implementing therapy using tepid water sponge compress. Tepid water sponge compress. Tepid water sponge compress given twice a day can reduce fever. After the treatment of tepid water sponge compresson the five clients, it is found that the tepid water sponge compress is effective in reducing hyperthermia.
