Abstract
Background: Emergency care is one of Hospital services components performed in the Emergency Department. The scope of emergency services include primary survey that is conducted without the support of diagnostic tools and secondary survey that is a stage of ABCD treatment that stand for A: Airway management; B: Breathing management; C: Circulation management; and D: Drug defibrillator disability. Objective: To give the overview of ABCD assessment to patients in emergency unit of Kebumen Hospital Methods: This researcher used descriptive method with survey approach. Samples consisted of 60 people that were taken by using accidental sampling technique. Data were analyzed by using descriptive analysis method. Results: the findings show that 50% patients in dr. Sudirman Hospital got good category and 66.7% patients in Permata Medika Hospital got anfavorable category of airway management assessment. 76.7% in dr. Sudirman Hospital and 56.7% patients in Permata Medika hospital got a good category of breathing management assessment. 80.0% patients in dr. Sudirman Hospital and 73.3% patients in Permata Medika hospital got unfavorable category of circulation management assessment. 73.3% patients in dr. Sudirman Hospital and 70% patients in Medika pertmata Hospital got anfavorable category of circulation management training. 70% patients in dr. Sudirman Hospital and Permata Medika Hospital got anfavorable category of defribilator disability drug training.
