Abstract
Background, women with 3rd trimester pregnancies have higher levels of anxiety compared with first and second trimester pregnancies. The background of this study is that there are several factors that can affect the anxiety of pregnant women in facing childbirth. The purpose of the study, to determine the factors associated with anxiety of third trimester pregnant women in facing childbirth in the area of Puskesmas Kroya II. Method of research, quantitative with analytic survey design with cross sectional design. sampling using purposive sampling technique (n = 85), analysis technique using spearman rank. The results showed, that there was an anxiety relationship between trimerter III and age (p = 0,001), parity (p = 0,000), education (p = 0,012), knowledge (p = 0,000), and family support (p = 0,000) . Conclusion, the existence of factors related to anxiety of third trimester pregnant woman in facing childbirth in Kroya II health center area include age, parity, education level, knowledge and family support. Recommendation, Puskesmas provide counseling and health education in facing childbirth during antenatal care
