Abstract
Background: Indonesian adolescents are to start paying attention on self-health, especially reproductive health in their puberty. Good knowledge about external general organsiasi and important factor in maintaining reproductive health. According to Congol, the greater frequency of general infectious is 38.1% of girls who cleaner general areas wrongly, and 35.1% of those who cleaner the genetal areas correctly (Devil et.al, 2013). An effort to care for reproductive health as early as possible using booklet media. This is for improving the knowledge of teenagers (10-11 years old girls) about caring of their external general organsiasi correctly. Objective: To know the knowledge improvement about caring external genital organs of girls aged 10-11 years old by using booklet media in Independent Midwifery Clinic of Midwifery Tri Winarsih at Sempor, Kebumen. Method: This research is a qualitative descriptive with a case study. Data were collected through observation and interviews. Data processing was done by scoring data, and then drawing conclusions. The respondents are 5 girls aged 10-11 years old. Result: After having pre-test, counseling about the treatment of external general organs using booklet media and after having post-test, there was an increase in knowledge level of all respondents about the treatment of external general organs.
