Abstract
Background : There are still many children who have not received health education, especially sexual education. At SD Negeri Sidoharjo Purworejo, it was found that during observation students did not receive sexual education. This causes the level of knowledge about the prevention of sexual violence on them is still low, one of the appropriate health education interventions for children is to use the underwear rules program. Objective : The purpose of this study was to determine the effect of health education with the Underwear Rulester Program on the level of knowledge about sexual violence in school-age children at SDN Sidoharjo Purworejo. Method : This research uses a quasi-experimental approach. . While the research design used is the Pre Test and Post Test One Group Desaign. Samples were taken using a total sampling technique with a total of 39 respondents. Univariate and bivariate data analysis uses the Wilcoxon Test. Result : the results showed that Sidoharjo Elementary School students before being given health education with the underwear rules program had a sufficient level of education of 21 people (53.5%). After being given health education most students have a good level of knowledge of 31 people (79.5%). Wilcoxon statistical test results obtained z = (- 5,260) and p = (0,000 <0,005) means that there is an influence of health education with underwear rules program to increase knowledge about preventing sexual violence in school-age children at SD Negrei Sidoharjo Purworejo. Conclution : There is an effect of health education with the underwear rules program on increasing knowledge about the prevention of sexual violence in school-age children at SD Negrei Sidoharjo Purworejo. Recomendation : Schools and teachers are able to socialize and carry out health education to avoid sexual violence against children.
