Abstract

Background: Families with school-age children are the developmental stages of children entering school starting at the age of 6 years to 12 years. Problems that are often experienced by school-age children are usually diarrhea or those related to Clean and Healthy lifestyle.with a precentage of 75%. Washing hands is one way to prevent disease. Objective: Describing family nursing care with the developmental stage of school-age children with health behavior problems tend to be at risk. Method: This study used a descriptive method. The data collected process using interview, observation and questionnaire techniques. The respondents of this study consisted of 3 assisted families in the village of Megulung Lor, Pituruh District. Results: After conducting health education and teaching how to wash hands, for 4 days, the results showed that the level of knowledge of the three respondents had increased. Conclusion: Clean and healthy lifestyle counseling and hand washing can increase family knowledge.
