Abstract

Prescription wait time is an important indicator in assessing the quality of pharmaceutical services because it affects patient satisfaction. This study was conducted because long wait times are a frequent problem in healthcare. The Adrio Husada Clinic in Banyumas Regency was selected as the study location because it actively provides primary healthcare services to a relatively high patient population. This study aimed to evaluate prescription wait times and assess their compliance with Ministry of Health standards, which are a maximum of 15 minutes for non-compounded prescriptions and 30 minutes for compounded prescriptions. This study used an observational method for one week, from November 8–14, 2024. The results showed that of the 163 prescriptions, 87.11% were non-compounded prescriptions with an average wait time of 9.9 minutes, and 12.89% were compounded prescriptions with an average wait time of 23.8 minutes. All wait times met standards. Therefore, prescription services at the Adrio Husada Clinic are fast and efficient. The clinic is expected to maintain its quality of service to improve patient satisfaction in the future.
