Abstract

Backround: Antenatal care (ANC) services are essential for monitoring and maintaining the health of both the mother and the baby throughout pregnancy. The satisfaction of pregnant women with these servise is crucial as it reflects the effectiveness and quality of care provided. Objective: To determine the relationship between the quality of antenatal care (ANC) services and the level of satisfaction of pregnant women at PKU Muhammadiyah Gombong Hospital. Method: The study used a descriptive correctional design with a cross-sectional approach. Data were analyzed using the chi-square test to examine the bivariate relationship between the quality of ANC service and the satisfaction levels of the pregnant women. Result: The quality of antenatal care (ANC) services at PKU Muhammadiyah Gombong Hospital was categorized as good. Among the participant, 58,3% axpressed satisfaction with the service, while 41,7% where less satisfied. The chi-square analys indicated a significant relationship between the quality of ANC service and the level of satisfaction among pregnant women at the hospital. Conclusion: There is a significant relationship between the quality of antenatal care (ANC) service and the level of satisfaction among pregnant women at PKU Muhammadiyah Gombong hospital. Recommendations: It is crucial to maintain the high quality of ANC service to ensure patient satisfaction, which may encourage continued use of these servise is future pregnancies.
