Abstract

Background: Hypertension is called the silent disease and can cause sudden death in sufferers. The incidence of hypertension worldwide has reached almost more than 1.3 billion people, of which 31% represents the number of adults in the world, which has increased by 5.1%, greater than the global prevalence in 2000-2010. All peripheral vessels in hypertensive patients suffer from vascular injury, resulting in headaches. Non-pharmacological management includes using relaxation techniques with Murrotal Al-Qur'an and distraction with warm nape compresses. Purpose: Describe the results of the analysis of nursing care for hypertensive patients with acute pain nursing problems by providing warm compresses and Murrotal Al-Qur'an at RSUD Prembun. Results: The results of the nursing evaluation for the five patients showed that the five respondents (100%) experienced a reduction in the pain scale to a mild scale (1-3). And it can be concluded that giving warm compresses and Murrotal Al-Qur'an is effective in reducing pain in hypertensive patients. Recommendation: It is hoped that future researchers will be able to research therapy to reduce hypertension pain with other non-pharmacological treatments.
