Abstract

Background: Chronic kidney failure (CKF) is considered one of the leading causes of death over the past 20 years. The 2018 Basic Health Research (RISKESDAS) conducted by the Health Research and Development Agency showed that the prevalence of Chronic Kidney Disease (CKD) in Indonesia was 0.38%, or 3.8 per 1,000 population, with approximately 60% of kidney failure patients requiring dialysis. During hemodialysis, it is crucial for patients to adhere to their treatment plans, as non-compliance can lead to complications. Low adherence to treatment is a common issue among hemodialysis patients, which can result in both acute and chronic complications, increasing the risk of morbidity and mortality. Purpose: To determine the level of satisfaction among chronic kidney failure patients regarding hemodialysis services using BPJS at PKU Muhammadiyah Gombong Hospital. Method: This study employed a quantitative method with a survey approach. Data were collected using a questionnaire and analyzed using univariate analysis, involving 96 respondents. Results: The findings showed that patient satisfaction levels in hemodialysis services were as followsTangible aspects: 66 respondents (66.8%) were satisfied.Reliability: 70 respondents (72.9%) were satisfied.Responsiveness: 61 respondents (63.5%) were satisfied. Assurance: 73 respondents (76.0%) were satisfied. Empathy: 64 respondents (66.7%) were satisfied. Conclusion: The study indicates a high level of satisfaction among hemodialysis patients, with the highest satisfaction level recorded in service delivery. Recommendations: This study is expected to serve as an initial reference and can be further developed by expanding the sample size and involving multiple hospitals as research locations. Additionally, to address the limitations related to respondents, future studies should pay greater attention to the conditions of patients being studied.
