Abstract

Background, Medicine is a pharmaceutical product whose stability must be maintained as an effort to preserve the efficacy, quality, and effectiveness of each drug. Pharmaceutical wholesalers are responsible for ensuring the availability of safe, quality, and timely medicines throughout the distribution network. Objective, as a control and monitoring of temperature in the storage room, is to measure the temperature changes that occur and serve as a basis for consideration in selecting the ideal temperature measurement points within a room. Methods, Temperature measurement points are selected based on a combination method of systematic grid and critical points (door, near AC, corners, and high shelves). Results, it is known that the storage temperature in the warehouse of PBF PT. Sehat Bersama Sejahtera (SBS) in Purbalingga Regency ranges between 15°C-25°C for the cool room and ≤30°C for the ambient room, which is in accordance with the CDOB requirements. Conclusion, the warehouse of PBF PT. Sehat Bersama Sejahtera (SBS) in Purbalingga Regency has generally met the CDOB requirements. Recommendation, it is necessary to optimize the storage system by ensuring smooth air circulation and providing special handling in the hot spot areas.
