Abstract
Background: By implementing the health protocol by implementing the 3 M initiated by the government, which includes washing hands with soap, wearing a mask when going out of the house, maintaining distance and avoiding crowds by maintaining direct contact with other people, is one way to take effective prevention in avoiding the virus covid-19. Purpose: Out the description of PHBS behavior in preventing the transmission of COVID-19 in Karangpakis Village, Nusawungu District, Cilacap Regency. Methods: This study uses finding a quantitative descriptive method with a cross-sectional approach. The number of samples was 100 respondents, the sampling technique in this study used purposive sampling. Collecting data using a questionnaire sheet regarding PHBS behavior. Data analysis in this study used univariate analysis in the form of frequency distribution. Results: The results showed that from 100 respondents, most of the results were in the sufficient category. In detail, namely the "less" category of 38.0% (38 people), "enough" of 14.0% (14 people), and "good" 48.0% (48 people). Conclusion: PHBS behavior in preventing Covid-19 transmission in Karangpakis Village, Nusawungu District, Cilacap Regency 48.0% is in the good category. Recommendations: It is hoped that further researchers will conduct research with different methods and plan further programs regarding PHBS behavior.
